I hope Gerry adds multiple capable bigs. We can’t get dominated on the glass and Dede is sky like we did with Kyle, Donnie and Sadiq. Need more size and physicality without a doubt.
A legit and athletic PG is also a high end need.

What the other 3 guys on the floor look like is the big question. Those two are going to play a lot. I'm very concerned we are repeating the Buddy mistake where we work our roster around a good but not great player.

Very valid concern. I would expect GMAC will not allow himself to be hamstrung on the roster this way, and this is being discussed/negotiated now. He's no dummy.

He KNOWS he's gonna be on a short leash here and Daddy ball2 ain't gonna fly... He won't want to get painted into a corner on this like Red did

GMAC definitely going for more of the blue collar types, recruiting will look somewhat different than were used too. More guys that don't pop out to NBA scouts on paper, but can be really good College Basketball players and perhaps show off something elite that's not on the measurable side that gets them to the NBA anyway.

To suggest Boeheim essentially threw a fit and said he was going to block donations if he didn’t get his guy is a really big accusation against the man’s character. And if you are claiming this as fact with DIRECT and first-hand knowledge, it makes me question your own character.

I can fully believe JB makes his preferences known, but I’m not about to claim this man, who has given his full-self to the university, is throwing a program sabotaging tantrum behind the scenes. Especially if I wasn’t in the room where/when it happened.
