Moving the goalposts again to more excuses. None of this matters. We had the players to beat Miami this year if we had good coaching. Our point guard selected us over UNC. UVA was smart and fired their coach. They got their best players from Europe. They hardly broke the bank. There's 3-4 schools you can say brought in better players than us in the conference last year. Duke, UNC, Louisville for sure. Maybe NC State.

Ron Sanchez was an interim coach. He wasn't fired as much as he wasn't hired as the permanent coach. While our best player is from Europe, six of the nine in the rotation came through the Portal. The ninth is a freshman. Only one scholarship player was retained from last year's squad.
