With all the players that Syracuse is currently loosing to the portal, we have yet to see one coach on the current staff held accountable for the disappointing season. I believe that the four coaches currently on staff were all guards when they played college basketball. I would like to see a coach for the bigs that has experience and success at that positions, a coach for the guards and small forwards and a proven defense coach. With the current high cost for top tear portal players, the improvement of first year players and portal players that are not in the top tear is a must to be a successful program!

Give it a year.

Well apparently Red and Griff are best friends. Straughn is a recruiting guy that brought us 2 top 10 guys in two consecutive cycles and Engelstad was just brought on last year and it sounds like we’re too cheap to eat a buyout.

Not to mention we have 2 non recruiting coaching positions open for the past 2 years and no whiff of a hiring.

So ya, I don’t have great confidence any significant changes are coming.

I am going to bump this and hope that someone has some info here. It seems very quiet regarding whether we will add coaches and I haven't seen any media even asking the question. It seems to me it is a no-brainer that we need to add more, especially given what we lost when GMac moved on.
