this would be disastrous, Nunzio was McCord's QB coach when he set the world on fire last year. What's different this year is Angeli went down injured and none of the backups are any good or ready. How can you blame that on the QB coach? The QB coach can only do so much. If Angeli transfers, this program has completely cratered and hit rock bottom.

He’s not getting fired he’s moving to TE coach, Johnson going to QB coach. White I’ve heard is gone. A different RB coach who was a staff guy Dennis Thomas I believe is moving into that role. That’s all I’ve heard so far nothing on the defensive side yet. Hopefully that clears up a bunch of rumors.

My interpretation was Johnson and Nunzio were switching up but when Angeli comes back Nunzio would be the QB Coach again since Brown said if Angeli was still the QB he wouldn't have made the change.

Nixon has proven to be a great OC with the right QB.
QB coach is responsible for getting these guys ready to play. Our backups look like they’ve never play football at any level.

Can’t you say the same about Nunz? Afterall, Nunz was the QB coach when Nixon was seen as a great OC because he had the right QB. Shouldn’t Nunz get the credit for the QB play last season and 4 games this season? Nunz looks like the fall guy now.

I wasn’t enamored with Nixon last year, he looked good because McCord and some good WRs were outstanding. He threw the ball a zillion times because McCord was simply amazing. You earn your paycheck when you have what we have now. The fact is Nixon has done nothing to help the QBs or this offense to succeed. His play calling to alleviate pressure is trash. Deep drops and 20 yard patterns with these players is not the way to go.

Yep we absolutely will bring in a QB to challenge him/can actually throw a forward pass but if Steve is healthy come fall camp, he will be our starter
