I heard about it the day before but didn’t want to post about it because I heard from a player about the shakeups same thing with the Don Brown thing. There’s more reasons of why the shakeups happened. Same reasoning why White is gone and the rb coach. It’s gonna keep a lot of major guys here and not leaving.

It’s not Nixon it’s whoever is the assistant rb coach. All I know is Dennis Thomas is taking that role over.

People have short memories around here and Angeli did not start the season on fire, his first couple of games were pretty shaky, everyone forgets the UConn game.

Collins was just an awful eval. It's easy to get fooled by tape.

IIRC, he was fine in the UCOnn game until he got hit in the head. After that he missed 14 straight passes over 2 quarters. Then came alive in Q4 and we got a W.

His UConn performance was compromised by the hit and the coach decision to keep him out there while clearly not right. Thank goodness he cleared up enough by Q4.

I like the coaching changes Fran is making. I’m still surprised Johnson is still on the staff. Was a Dino hold over and not sure what he has brought to the program. Also, hoping Nixon is working on the ability to make adjustments if Steve or someone equivalent is not ready when the season starts. The round peg into a square hole was an understatement when Steve went down.

This isn’t a lateral move it’s a step backward. Right? Going from WR coach at Syracuse to the same job at South Florida makes no sense. You’re leaving a Power conference role for a Group of 5 job with less visibility, less prestige and no clear career upside. Unless there’s something behind the scenes this is a downgrade (for White) not a move forward.

I'm sure word has gotten out about his very sort train wreck of a time at Cuse.
