The worst 2-3 schools in the Ivy League are great schools in their own right, but they really benefit from being grouped in with the rest of their conference as far as academic perception. Duke, Stanford, MIT, Caltech, Hopkins, Northwestern, Chicago, (I could go on), are all probably better regarded schools overall than the "bottom" of the Ivy League.
