It's funny, when this kid committed. I expected him to have a huge impact, doesn't seem like he was important on the too deep this year either, so best of luck to him.
Yeah seemed like he would press for snaps.

i believe he was getting 2nd team center reps in spring

Hornsby expected to enter the portal...we are losing OL left and right...

Worried this maybe a reflection on our OL coach...
I would not have been completely surprised if that was a spot that had a change after the season.

This helps explain why we are continuing to go after interior OL….
Coach Williams says he ranks all the offensive linemen. Since they are cross trained at multiple positions we really need 8-10 lineman to sustain a season. I expect us to grab a few more from the portal to be in the top 10 rotation

So he was supposed to be the starter supposedly. With the Louisville transfer we have someone and we have the Freshman Stewart. That's it? Love Stewart but was told playing as a freshman is to hard. We better get another starting caliber guy or it won't matter who the QB is.

I thought we had our best O line in a decade last year. This would suck.

Seems like the starting OL will be Mack, Petry, Collins (transfer), J Cruz, Spoon.

At this point the rest of fighting to be in the 6-8 spot where they'll rotate in.

This is one case where 'The Sky Is Falling' doesn't apply. Was probably just not able to play at this level.

He probably should have accepted that offer from Del State. (Now coached, BTW, by DeSean Jackson.)

That’s what i would call a serviceable group. We certainly need more bodies.
100% agree. Injuries and inconsistency can and will happen. Need to find a capable tackle and guard. I know it's a lot to expect but I do see Khalil Stewart being the backup Center from Game 1.

Son of a... We need some capable bodies on the OL. Seems hard to keep anybody that is not slotted to be a starter. Retaining that second line is tough. Need to have OL6 - OL8 players with some talent.

Well i guess this is better than losing Jaylen Hornsby.

Sure but who is that 6-8 spot now?

The OL room is looking real light these days

outside of that 5 you listed who is left?

Byron Washington and Josh Miller? Who else am I missing?
