Bilas, Williams and Greenburg just did a 10-15 minute segment evaluating each of the 8-9 bubble teams. They then worked through each and which ones should be in or out. All of them agreed that of that group of 8-9, SU should be the 1st one in.

We don't know what the committee's criteria is. If it uses common sense then SU is in easily. If they favor the little guys then SU gets left out. Looking at the schedules, you cannot justify a 3rd A10 or 3rd AAC team getting in over SU. You cannot justify a 2nd team from the MAAC, MVC, MWC, WCC. I would not be surprised to see all the bubble P5 schools get in over these media darlings who don't belong in.

They are trying to cover up for their retarted colleage who has them out by far for some reason

Red Autry worked under Seth Greenberg at Virginia Tech so I am not surprised that Greenberg is lobbying on SU's behalf.

Jay Williams may have been recruited by the Heimer at some point.

interesting when you have a basketball guy making the decision vs what is on the committee every year.

We have always been Bilas' second favorite school (after his alma Duke), and Greenberg has been kind to us all season. Williams surprises me.

Agreed, Williams was a bit of a shock. He usually likes to argue for the smaller schools because they don't get to play poeple. Although he's also one of the people that usually puts everyone in (when discussing on panel).

on ESPN2 theyre' about to discuss the bubble teams and who should be in

Of course they put 'Cuse/Mich against each other on blind resume and have Dakich (w/ son on Mich) talk about it...Oh Lord

Jay williams logic for cuse probably goes something like this : cuse won at cameron, duke rules, so cuse deserves a bid.

Or...Syracuse has Mike G. Mike G originally went to Duke. Mike G is thus Lebron James. Lebron plays for Syracuse. Syracuse is in.
