i don't get why people choose this issue to get sanctimonious. who cares if fans of decent teams get the opportunity to travel somewhere nice (or detroit) to see their team one more time? or if the players get a capstone game? if the sponsors and the venues and the teams are cool with it, what's the big deal? "Bowl season" isn't some precious thing not to be toyed with. It's football! should we back march madness down to 32 teams, too?
