College Football Playoff Revenue Distribution

If Clemson fans were more likable, maybe you could suggest the ACC let them roll into the CFP, but...

Orange Bowl is in the playoff
walk me through the #s.

so what happens, does every conf whos 'bowl' game get moved to the F4 take a lesser cut because of it? is it made back if they have a participant?? unlike say the bevo, who will be shut out again this year.

or is the ACC somehow getting less $$ every few years than the others??

The ACC needed FSU to be 11-1 to get a NYS bowl. It will be hard now. The ACC will need one of UNC, Duke, Pitt go 11-1 and play Clemson hard in the ACC title game. I think an 11-2 Coastal Champ could be top 10.

I need an accountant to do that...the ACC generally will receive more for BB units but the other P5 conferences have better Bowl Playoff contracts. The B12 hooking up with the SEC in the Sugar Bowl cut the ACC off and they had to settle for the Orange Bowl. When the Orange Bowl is in the playoff the ACC will fall behind the others.

The ACC needs ND to lose, and have one of Duke, Pitt, UNC win out till Championship week and I think the ACC could possibly get a 2nd team into the NYS.
The Sugar will be LSU/Alabama vs. Baylor/TCU/Oklahoma/Oklahoma state
The Rose will be Michigan/Michigan state/Ohio State vs. Stanford/Utah
Orange and Cotton will be semifinals
Fiesta and Peach bowls will be the top 3 teams not in NYS bowls from P5 and the 4th team will be the G5 team.
