College Gameday going back to Austin, Texas next week and not NOLA for Tulane-UCF. Not the only school getting robbed out of deserved publicity.

Idk about mcafee. I like the guy at times and I don’t like him at other times. He curses a little bit too much for my liking. Haven’t watched enough game day this year to see if he is a good fit. They are trying to replace corso but I think he is the type that is irreplaceable. He was the lifeblood of that show. Hope his health is improving but he is missed, he was so enjoyable to watch

To me Mcafee is too much about creating a show and not enough about giving legit analysis.

These types of things always start out small. Then they want so badly to be legitimate that they work really hard at doing a good job and become something big. Then, when they get crazy popular, they forget what they should be doing to be good and become a poor lazy version of what they used to be. It's the SNL syndrome and it's happened to gameday. This year's female "contributor" is the best example of it. They forgot that the previous women in those roles weren't just attractive but were legitimate sports journalists with skill. Maybe they got sick of losing them to bigger jobs and figure nobody will steal her away.
