Colorado Fires Mike MacIntyre / Hires Mel Tucker

I was a little worried about Dino sniffing this one. Boulder is a pretty sweet spot - and Colorado has a lot of upside. This is great news.

Lateral in most ways, except they don’t have a Dome.

USC scared me.

Like I mentioned somewhere before, Colorado and Syracuse could be long lost brothers based on the past and last few years. Both had great runs and then started to nosedive in the mid 2000's. That is why I never saw Babers as a candidate here, it would be as lateral a move as one could make. Most of the fan base is excited because they see this as a hard nosed take no BS coach. Some reservation naturally because everyone is waiting to see what staff gets assembled.

Jimmy Brumbaugh has just been added to the staff. What are the thoughts here on him? I know he used to coach for Syracuse.

Decent d-line coach, good recruiter. At least he came in with a rep as a recruiter.
