First, I love the smirk on his face when asked about the Big East being upset with him. This dude is what a commish should be, 1. a leader 2. not afraid to speak the truth, and 3. doesn't give a crap what others think.

I love his answer to the question about going to 16. If I was UConn I would know we aren't getting an invite unless ND comes aboard or the Va Tech/ Florida St bolt to the SEC.

Swofford keeps things very close to the vest.

Three observations caught my ear: (1) the ACC is very content with the status quo; (2) there is no concern over the 27-month BE withdrawal period and (3) the eventual establishment of four superconferences with sixteen teams each is not inevitable.
