I'm current running IE9 on the desktop in my basement. I've always had to use "compatibility view" in order to start threads without all that poll nonsense.
Since the forum upgrade last night I've lost all the "smilies" and other text editing tools.
They reappear when I'm not in compatibility mode, but it's a pain in the neck to keep switching back and forth.
It's not an issue on my laptop which is running IE10.
