This is my first post, but I am long time Syracuse fan. I have read many posts and I have great idea.

My suggestion for DA Coine. Many people on this board want to see Schaffer fired. But some want to give him one more year.

I am feeling like the best way to solve this disagreement is compromise and give OUR coach a half of a season contract.

We all need to come together as fans to support this team!! They need us and this is a solution that would bring everyone together!!

Shafer's contract could stipulate that (a) he gets to coach one half each game (I suggest the 2nd half, based on this season), or (b) he coaches every other game.
