Concerned about Coleman

Outside of the garbage time minutes against Va Tech, DC2 hasn't played at all. I'm worried that even if the knee heals and he practices and is cleared to play in games that his conditioning will not be up to stuff.

This is not an AO situation as far as injury impact because we have two other centers, but there are games coming up when I feel Coleman could be an asset.

I hope this doesn't become a situation where this lingers all year. I like Coleman; It sucks this has happened to him both years he's been in Orange. No matter what, these injuries have stunted his development a bit as well. There's no substitute for the experience a player gets in games.

Yes, this is starting to get concerning to me also. Dragging out a little too long. I think he has been practicing with the team??? So that would make a huge difference in his conditioning.

I'm not sure he's been a full go in practice. I doubt it; if he was practicing with no restrictions, JB would be playing him in games.

Not too worried about the conditioning aspect. He's young, he's an athlete, and he doesn't need to put in 40 minutes a game.
