Getting to a bowl is a big start for next year. Essentially another Spring practice for the coaches and players.

Any idea which bowl it will be?

We're hoping Orange Bowl.

We'll be happy with the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Bowl...any bowl is better than no bowl.

BTW, I didn't think of that (Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Bowl)...can't remember who said it first.

That is actually a fantastic name for a bowl. The folks at scrubbing bubbles should embrace this and sponsor a bowl.

I believe it was Jekelish.

Thanks All4SU.

As for Bowls to answer Bret's?

I think most here are happy with any of the possibilities save for Detroit and Shreveport...but you know what they say about Beggers and Choosing. I actually think Shreveport is decent if you like Cajun Food and Gaming.

Please not Detroit. I have bad memories of the Cherry Bowl.

Yes, that Cherry Bowl experience was a tough one. Worst drive ever going there. Whiteout conditions for extended periods. We got to the SilverDome early and had to wait in our car for the gates to open, with the temperature low and the winds really high.

Then the place was empty, there were maybe 10K in the building. And then Maryland beat us. The highlight of the trip was driving into downtown Detroit to see all the shells of buildings near City Hall. It looked like a war zone.

Good times.
