Once upon a time I was pretty much a Duke hater but... you've got to hand it to them and especially coach K. Their program is no doubt one to be looked up to as an example of a well run program. K does it all. He recruits, he cultivates his players and his teams, he is a great in game coach for making adjustments during the game as well as throughout the season.
He recruits kids who are high character, smart, gutsy , skilled and team players. Those 2 freshman guards were absolutely phenomenal. 4 freshmen on that team were key players. Okafor, Jones, Allen, & Winslow. Now there is one heck of a freshman class. WOW... just wow. They were really impressive and they deserve credit.
Made some tough shots and did what had to be done when it was needed. Anyone who appreciates college basketball should recognize that team was very impressive and deserves credit. Nothing is easily handed to a team that carves out a route to a national title, it's all hard fought for.

I wanted Wisconsin in the worst way myself. I thought that their victory over Kentucky had made them the National Champions by proxy or default automatically. They will forever hold a special place in my heart for taking those guys down. Both Wisky and Duke are classy outfits. KY (jelly) not so much.
