Congrats to Floyd, #52 on ESPN top 150 players

I cant see Davis making this list but it would be nice. but then hornig got on the list off 1 yr of bad stats

Way too young to see him play, but my father claims that a Mr. Jim Brown is the best football player ever to play...college or pro.

No other SU players, top 25 pending.

Hard to imagine Brown and Davis don't make this list, so are they in the top 25?
Glad to see Floyd, a 3 time All American, get some recognition.

Seeing Paul Horning rated #27 immediately tells me that the panel failed horribly and wasted everyone’s time.

Hopefully someone will try this again someday and do a decent job.

Well, Paul Hornung was “better” than the GOAT, or he wouldn’t have stolen his Heisman then, right?

my dad says the same thing and he doesn't even think it's close

expertise about trivial stuff like sports is so overrated.

putting a man on the moon, that requires experts.

this stuff, there's no difference between people on those panels and people not on those panels

These are Hornung’s career statistics at ND:

209 rushes for 1051 yards, 6 TDs
3 receptions for 26 yards, 0 TDs
110 for 233 (47.7%) passing for 1698 yards. 12 TDs, 23 interceptions.

These stats are not for a season. They are for his career. He scored 6 touchdowns. For his entire career at ND. His senior season, he showed his worth to the team by leading them to a 2-8 record.

He was okay at running the ball. Couldn’t pass it at all. Had no ability as a receiver. And he was awful on defense.

He is infamous as the worst Heisman Trophy winner of all time. How he was even considered to be the top 150 players in college football history is beyond me. Him getting ranked in the top 30 players of all time is sickening. I seriously doubt he was one of the top 30 players in the country his senior season.

I only got to watch him as a pro, but to me, Jim Brown was the Lawrence Taylor of running backs. His will to win was unbelievable, and he had the strength and athleticism to back it up. I remember that one defensive player in the NFL once said that tackling Jim Brown was like grabbing a live electrical wire.
