To celebrate this accomplishment they should change their name from "Scarlet Knights" to "Conference Realignment Wallflowers" with the motto "We are Scarlet with embarrassment at not being chosen by anyone'.

By the way, this "Scarlet Knights" name is a pretty recent affectation. Prior to that --- until at least the 1950's --- Rutgers teams were known as the "Roosters" or "Chickens" or "Chanticleers" (which is a name for a kind of chicken).

And before that they were known as the "Queens" or "Queensmen"

They keep changng their noicknamed in the hopes of shaking their pasts.

Whereas, we (SU) change our name and mascot to be more and more politically correct.
