Julie has Down syndrome. She and her brother Derrick are good friends of mine (and the Atl game watching crew) Ran into Keilan's dad at the Atl airport. And he just gave them the ball. Julie literally cried happy tears. Happy birthday!

And by the way... Julie is Syracuse good luck. Most recent occasion was when she came to bar with about 15 min to go against UVA.

This spells good things for the football team.

Would love to join the AtL game watching crew for a game or two this year. Great story too.

I have been away from the board for a very long time. Just saw this and it made my freaking day/week/life!!

I absolutely love these two and the dad of the player. She is such an adorable person that immediately made me happy.

What a great story. Thanks for posting it and this needs to go viral. It is pure happiness. So what that the team got trounced this weekend. This is the story of the week for me.

I have recently moved back north - but can get you in touch with people from the main crew (Hudson Grille - Roswell Rd) and Siracusa's in Smyrna (my old stomping grounds)

FYI: Siracusas is organizing another bus trip to Clemson this year. It will be around $100 for all you can eat, drink, bus, and ticket. We literally lost a guy 2 years ago. Much recommended.

FYI Nate Mink reached out to get their contact info. He is working on a short story about the video. Pretty cool. Glad I posted it. Julie will love it.

I did the Siracusa's bus trip to the Georgia Tech game a couple years ago. If ever there was a game where alcohol sales were needed in the arena, that was it.

I was on that too!

Are you planning on the Clemson game? I am prob flying down to Atl to take the bus up for that.

Haha that's funny. I'm not in ATL, so no I won't be on that. My buddy that we went to visit down there will be though.

i don't want to read too much into one video but everyone who helps her should be really proud, she seems to be thriving, I'm very impressed with her

I told you she was good luck.
