Tough kid but I feel like he should be our slot receiver. Always wondered why he got no chance there. Tough middle of the field catch everything and get some RAC guy.

This year happy with him at RB of course.

Between Lutz and Jordan I think I would rather see Lutz at back because he can break arm tackles. Jordan should be in the slot, if he can catch.

Well technically going into the season it was a #5 and #6. I think its an awareness/vision difference. Tucker has really impressive vision. Lutz got ankle tackled by surprise a couple times on runs that could have been big gains. He also missed a couple opportunities to cut back. We will see if he picks up on that stuff on film and learns from it.

Having Pierre ahead of Tucker and Lutz on the depth chart makes me question the coaches judgement. I hope they don't just play the most experienced guy unless it's super obvious the younger guy is so much better.

Lutz sat behind Moe Neal, Jarveon Howard and Abdul Adams. Nothing justified jumping up the depth chart until this year. Now he's gotten his chance and he's making the most of it. Nothing bad about this.

agreed but I said way way way back that I thought Tucker would contend for starter snaps. In my mind he was #3 going into camp, even ahead of Jordan. I think Lutz is pretty much at his ceiling right now. Tucker is light years ahead of him.

Unfortunately it seems that way on offense. Does not appear the same on D. Dino’s perception of the offense seems to be that you are not ready unless you have been in the system 2 to 3 years.

I believe this is Lutz’s first year at RB. I think he will an excellent contributor when all is said and done.
