The Tyler's, Tyus and Andrew are your main guys. That is set in stone IMO.

JB is going to give Frank every opertunity to be the main PG but man I have to say he said Gillon wasn't looking for his shot last game when he had 9 assists and " boom goes the dynamite" Gillon shows he could score 50 tonight if needed. Both guys will be needed but it's starting to look like Gillon can do what the situation calls for. A big plus was that the best back court defensively in the zone was Gillon Battle.

You have your core 4 plus a PG (both will play a lot) and 3 bigs for the rest of the PT. TT making a bid for sure.

What can't battle do? White at the 3 with Battle at the 2 while Lydon plays makes the game easy on offense.

IF, IF this team gels and the defense gets it together we can win it all.

The press may not be needed but if we do need it, it won't work the way we played it tonight.

LeMoyne isn't a good team at this point in the season, but I did think they passed the ball around pretty nicely. Quick crisp passes around the perimeter. Helped them get some decent outside shot opportunities.

Yep, they killed our press and got way to many open looks against the 2-3 from deep.

I agree about the core group. I don't know that it is accurate that Battle plays the 2 and White plays the 3 in the offense -- they pretty much do the same things, from opposite wings, when they are on the court together; and White was the SG for a long spell before Battle subbed in in.

Before we anoint this team for a successful ACC run, the bigs need to figure a few things out. Lydon has not shown the scoring that many expected, though he is our strongest rebounder and a good passer, and maybe his shots will start to fall. Can't really say yet whether Coleman, Chukwu or Thompson will contribute enough to provide inside balance.

LeMoyne was well-coached by Beilein.

They looked for trailers and even did some pull-ups. They were smart and they drilled some looks, many of them open ones. We did a crappy job tagging their shooters. They did exactly what JB mentioned is an issue with the press: instead of going at a guy like Chukwu, they elected to shoot threes in transition.

Can we PLEASE stop the "he gone" nonsense (and all versions of it)? As Mr. Wolf would say: pretty please, with sugar on top.

the Cubs won the WS, Trump will be president, anything is possible
