Cornell Fans Most Racist in the Nation?

interesting because cornell has about 500 people at games for bball most of the time and they dont allow swearing without getting tossed . bball is a pretty family friendly crowd very few college unlike hockey.

The Vermont coach who allegedly called Lin an "Oriental" - is that the lunatic who got fired at George Washington for inappropriate behavior?

Cornell fans are definitely not the most racist in the nation. The school itself is very diverse, with 50 percent of undergrads being foreign nationals. Overall, Ithaca is a diverse and accepting community as well.

Yup, that would have been during Lonergan's time here.

Of course nobody condones this stuff but is it actually the ref's responsibility to police crowd taunts?

Ten percent of Cornell's 14,471 undergraduates are resident aliens (i.e. foreign nationals). Your basic point -- that Cornell is very diverse -- is correct. No need to bolster it with hyperbole (no matter how au courant that might be in some circles).
