Cornell Game - Corrigan Sports Network

Why on earth would SU, and Cornell for that matter, agree to this?
SU radio broadcaster Tim Leonard said on Cuse Sports Talk today that 1) Gary likes to play a neutral location game every year. 2) SU has many players from Long Island, and 3) the schools make some money on the game which helps their budget. But it's still NUTS!

Here’s the problem with college lacrosse and marketing. The No. 1 and No. 4 teams playing each other and the game is only available on a second rate streaming service that I’ll need to watch on an IPad. Awful.
And lacrosse us such an awesome and exciting game. Needs to be better marketed.

If you have Apple TV, you can stream it to your TV from the IPad.

why do you have to watch on an ipad?

The schools chose to take money to play the game on LI and lose control of ticket and TV revenue.

But since both schools are on ESPN+ deal this is additional money if they get a cut of any TV which they may not.

So we're playing the #1 team at a neutral site on Long Island and the game is on some 3rd tier streaming service that will cost $18 to stream this one game??

Whomever scheduled this debacle should be fired - both schools.

When it was cancelled doesn’t matter clown.
I've always been a Billy Joel fan but it's time he shuts it down. He said he was retired a few years ago. Most of these guys just can't deal with the fact their voices are shot.

And they should know better than to screw up Cuse lacrosse.

nail down the top players from Long Island, Central NY and Ontario you got yourself a pretty good team.

Website says you can purchase game at 3 pm
It’s 3:10. Purchase isn’t available.

gonna have to air play it or whatever so can watch on my tv n not just phone this is so lame n terrible for such a big important game

Bit the bullet. For $18, what a second rate coverage this is. Camera shaking viewing along with the wind sound blowing through the broadcast. Reminds me when camcorders first came out and had poor sound deafening, etc.
