Costs of Recruiting

Here's a pretty interesting article I found (unfortunately it's the B10, couldn't find an ACC one) that shows the extremely high costs of recruiting. It also shows some of the support staff that is hired specifically for this area outside of the 10 "official" coaches you are allowed.

I couldn't even guess what's Syracuse's expenses were over the past 3 years. Have to think since we are recruiting on a more national level that it would be around 400-500k?

This just goes to show how so few colleges can play at a high D-1 level.

When I was in college 6 years ago, Le Moyne's recruiting budget for basketball was $4,000. Can't imagine it's grown too much since.
