Syracuse recently got a pair of teammates from Georgia Tech, who seem to share friendship/bond, have played together, and know each others games. Whether it was actually a package deal or just separate targeting of two teammates, could this be a possible creative way Alex Kline could be trying to achieve continuity in the age of transfer portal, where rosters are constantly being overturned and player development over multiple years is getting more impossible to do. It would give a team made up of transfers a head start at developing team chemistry both on and off the court. Additionally, It could also be attractive to recruit certain players who might really feel more comfortable playing with friends/teammates
 
Looking at the transfer market and who we are rumored to be interested in, here are some interesting possible package deals/teammates.

LeJuan Watts & Cedric Coward of Washington St., both transfers from EWU and both are from Fresno area (could also add as assistant coach, former Washington St asst coach Stephen Frankoski, who has NBA coaching exp and is followed by/follows Kline)

Jamir Watkins and Jerry Deng from Florida St.

Regardless of whether we land another package deal/teammates this year, perhaps this could be one of Alex Kline strategies we could look out for in future years?
