Could the rebound fix be as simple as

It boggles my mind that a guy with the leaping ability of this kid cant out jump a guy for a rebound.

"can't" or "doesn't try to"...all about effort.

One MORE thing about our rebounding woes...it's obvious JB hammered the team about it after the G'Town game because just about every player mentioned our need for improvement. Rebounding will never be a strength of this team, but maybe with added emphasis it can be less of a problem going forward. Louisville will be a big test on the boards. That could get ugly in that department.

I think he was a genius for bringing it up like he did in the post game presser. Time to light a fire. I am not buying that we can't rebound and just accept it. I fully expect that come Saturday you will see a much better effort.

To me its still kind of a non issue assuming we keep blocking shots, getting steals, etc. Just keep it within 5-7 rebounds and it will be allright.

True, Marsh. One other thing: some people think a fix is to not have our guards (and forwards like Kris) leak out for fast breaks... that's fine but it'll also slow down our running game. Slow down our transition game and all of a sudden we're playing more in the half court and that's not a strength either. :bang:

getting in the habit of yelling SHOT everytime the shot goes up?

I have read many quotes from players about not being quick enough and sitting and watching, so maybe a simple reminder like all 5 players(**** even the guys on the bench) yelling shot, aka go get the rebound dumbasses

Only if they yell "and go get the ball" afterwards
