Could UConn/Marquette be a system play?

UConn is -2 tomorrow. Smart money says bet on them at home.

i dont know, sagarin has this game as a pick'em and i tend to agree. uconn is better than their record, but marquette is tough minded and i can see them win outright. i wouldn't bet it, but i just see marquette as a bad matchup for uconn. then again, uconn could come out hot and bury them.

Buzz has done a tremendous job there and they just play hard. I don't think they're as dirty as Pitt, but they definitely do some stuff that pisses me off.

I believe Triche was asked about the toughest player to guard in the BE, and he said DJO

I like that bet, and think MU will win by about a touchdown. their gritty guards will do enough to disrupt Boatright and Shabazz to keep UConn struggling on O. I could see them scoring only in the 50s. What UConn needs is for Lamb to awake from his slumber, and if he does today they have a good chance. But I expect Marquette to take it.
