"Anyone need bracelets?!" New market for the scalpers.

I wonder if my 12+ aged kids will be ok with simply their excelsior pass since they don’t have ID’s
i think kids go on parents excelsior pass

I took my 17 and 13 year old sons to Fan Fest. They both had their Vax Cards, usher compared names on cards to my ID, same last name and so they went through. I don't see an issue with your own children. I frequently bring my nephew who has a different last name, not sure how that will work yet.

I put a call in to see if the tent will be in North or South Manley. Will update when I get. A call back
Last I heard, I think the plan was to do it inside Manley. I believe they would like to do it right on the playing field.

That way they would have a ton of room to work with and not take away space from tailgating.

It would be nice if they did a real map of where the tents will be.. Many people will be wondering to the quad from locations and trying to figure out which of the 10 tents is the one to go to.. Might be the one with a huge line only to find out when you get to the end its for a chance to eat a hot dog..

You spin a big wheel.

1st prize is a hot dog.
2nd prize is a Vax Check.

Everything else is 3 free lottery tickets.

Its just seems like if they have one at Manley thats great but there is a large area between the n/s lots there and you could easily not have a reason to see the tent depending on where you park. Skytop is pretty much everyone rides the bus from there so put a tent near that spot. The west lots are kinda spread out too. people down by fine would be good with a tent on the ESF lot but a big bunch park at the lots to the north and might not even go looking several lots away. people will be parking and walking right to the dome to get in without even seeing a tent and not going up around to the quad.

Lots of people come in from the east/north side parking all and many of them will not be walking thru the quad. I am at MTO now i dont go into the quad most times and dont need to.. It would be good if they had some clarity of where the pre-screening is. People parking at the Cemetery walk right to the south side as well.

3 days away people need to plan how far extra they half to walk and then provide some time on top of that. Your 10 min walk from where you park might be 10 more to a tent and back so now thats 30 min to get to the doors and who knows how much extra for the time at the tent. your 10 mins turns into 40 pretty fast..

I figure in the past 30 min from car to entrance was least i wanted to allow on an avg game and more if i wanted to get food. I would plan on doubling that maybe more the first game.

In order to expedite getting into the Carrier Dome, Syracuse is going to provide five screening tents around the facility: Two at Manley Fieldhouse, one at Skytop Lot, one right below Sadler Hall around the West parking lots and one off the quad near the Ernie Davis statue. The tents will open four hours prior to kickoff and fans will receive a bracelet after the pre-screening process that allows them access to a “fast-pass lane” so it gets them into the building quicker. Syracuse will also have personnel outside the Carrier Dome reminding people what they need in order to get through.

So if there is a "fast pass" lane does that mean people aren't required to go to the tents? They'll still have staff checking things at the door?

Sounds like you can either spend 10 minutes at a tent, or spend 30-40 at the gate.

Personally, I'll be getting verified at approx 10:00 AM before I even attempt to tailgate.
