The Cowboys claimed former Carolina Panthers fullback Tony Fiammetta off waivers Sunday.
Fiammetta, 25, will be added to the active roster after the Cowboys released four fullbacks, including 2010 starter Chris Gronkowski, earlier in the weekend.
The 6-0, 242-pound Fiammetta, who played at Syracuse, was selected by Carolina in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He appeared in 24 games over two seasons, accumulating only 56 yards from scrimmage.

Missed most of the pre-season with an injury, and lost his job to Jerome Felton.

Sounds like a temporary roster move. Expect to see him back with the Cowboys soon... unless another team gobbles him up.
