Well i understand what you are saying but i guess some people had less than stellar personal experiences with him. Are they supposed to not comment on your post because it doesnt fit the positiveness of your article?

No - but we've had more than enough negative to talk about the past several months. So we finally get a positive article on Craig, who has turned into a fine representative for the university. and I'm not sure why some posters felt the need to take it in the direction they did.

I wasn't on this board then, but I was on a couple of others. Craig took a lot of undeserved and abuse from posters who after Carmelo left, couldn't see him for what he was, rather resenting him for what he wasn't - 'Melo. Gerry McNamara also took a lot of crap, for essentially the same reason, from a lot of the same fools. Anyone who knows anything knows how patently unfair those comparisons were.

I'm getting to regret posting the article. The article is nothing but positives as to where life has taken him and his passion for guiding our youth. For this thread to deteriorate to the point of questioning his character is low. This board really sucks sometimes.

People were just talking about their personal experiences with him so i dont see it as a negative if it was true.

Not from someone here who usually isnt negative and intolerant of the players. It was just his personal experience . Thats all im saying. I dont know Craig personally so i dont know how he really is. Im not judging him either way.

There aren't many off the court things I can imagine warrant abuse from a fanbase, and I have certainly never heard of anything that would fit that category associated with those 2. Care to expand on that?

Didn't Marrone kick Nunes off campus because Troy was involved in some boiler room type of financial shenanigans?
