Crazy ending to the game

Our running game is a work in progress that has gotten better and better. Smith is 5th leading rusher in the BE averaging 4.9 yards per carry and Gully is 14th with 4.2 avg. Jawan Jamison, the leading rusher in the BE only averages 4.5.

Smith is a junior and will be a beast next year. Not great hands but he can run North and South.

one of the most noticeable improvements with this offense, and I'mnot sure if it has to do with the line or the RBs, is that there are seemingly no runs going for a loss.

I don't think he stinks. I think he is serviceable but he is not as good as Bailey let alone any of the other starting RBs we have had in the past. He isn't a guy the other team has to really worry about stopping and isn't a threat to ever take one to the house. He hits the holes hard, I credit him for that. However I credit most of his yards to the OL not him. He rarely gets extra yards and goes down pretty easy. His next cut will be his first cut. If there isn't a big hole he runs into his OL and falls. He is a middle of the pack Big East RB, which isn't saying much.

Our RBs stink

So why did you say it?

I believe Smith is a soph eligibility wise.
