saw a couple of posts on tiger droppings saying the dome was really noisy. I was at the game. I thought it was ok but nothing compared to some of the games ive been to eg. Michigan when nunes had the intentional grounding safety, va tech when freeney sacked vick a bunch of times, Miami when dmcnabb and crew dominated. I was in the second level corner so maybe that had an effect, but curious as to others thoughts. what ran through my mind when reading lsu's board is if they think that was loud, they have no idea.

I just can't wait to get back to how it was in the old days. I grew up in cuse and graduated from there in 07. people thought I was crazy because I am a bigger cuse football fan than bball. I tried to explain how exciting games in the dome used to be but you just can't give others the correct impression. one has to experience it themselves.

Every LSU fan near me at the game was blown away at the noise level. Almost all of them said it was the loudest they have ever heard in any stadium. I was amazed they admitted that considering how loud everyone claims Death Valley is.

The noise made a noticeable difference with LSU's communication and disturbed a bunch of casual fans who prefer not to cheer, so I think it was pretty loud. My brother who watched in Oregon said it sounded loud and powerful. We could have had another 6000 voices in the stands and perhaps that would be closer to the dome's best, but I felt proud on Saturday. We contributed.

Gradual progression. We're starting to have more folks leaving the dome after loosing their voice. When that number goes up we'll get more leaving with their ears ringing as well. If we could've levelled the score in the 2nd half if very well could've gotten there.

I know I disturbed several LSU fans sitting near me.

some LSU players have said they couldn't hear.

I imagine if this had had been a night game it would've had more people and been louder. Nooners are tough and generally more subdued

Was loudest we've had this year for sure. The first half of the Clemson game 2 years ago puts it to shame.

That beatdown game over #11 WVU in 2011 was pretty damn loud too.

it would be interesting to have sound meters in spots around the dome to see how different it carries to places. far the loudest it gets but its a building process and when you have so many visitors its going to be tougher to create the noise.

I had great seat for that game. that was loud but still doesn't compare to the other games I mentioned.

I can only imagine. I missed/was too young for most of our dynasty run from 87-02. I've seen youtube clips of some crazy Dome moments. Clemson game was the best/loudest I've experienced at Cuse or anywhere else.

I was at the Clemson game and Saturday. Sustained noise for a half, yes Clemson wins. At times the building Saturday was just as loud though (for instance when Estime scored).
