I think tonight is going to be a very thin crowd.

Weeknight game? Check
Bad Weather? Check, 9 degrees expected temperature this evening
COVID19? Check, CNY is not yet at peak and now has over 10,000 active cases.

So, all of this in the background and then we have the fact we are looking at two sub-.500 teams squaring off.

The students are not going to be back until late January. SU pushed the start of the spring semester out to try and wait out the worst of the COVID crest we are riding right now.

No band either. Not even the old reliable Bville HS band as a backup.

Atmosphere is really lacking. The people that come tonight are true fans. If you are thinking about going, do it.

The team needs our support now more than ever.

I was not. Someone that was there posted about it in the game thread.

It was me. My wife and the woman in front of us were fixated on it during the game. She was doing everything you are not suppose to do when you sit court side. Finally DPS took her away with about ten minutes to go and she could barely walk up the stairs into the first level concourse.

Too many back room complimentary beers and not enough hot dogs. Years and years back the company I used to work for gave the tickets to someone for a game and the company got a talking to because of the behavior. No joke down there.
