Me too!I wonder why nobody ever mentions Csonka and Morris when they talk about great backs from SU?
I can assure you that by his Senior year Zonk was a "name".different world back then. less game less yds and really it was the pro game that made csonka a name.
morris though had the best career of any SU back and played on avg su teams
Csonka - arguably the best to ever play fullback.
Jim Nance. Great running back who made the Patriots Hall of Fame.
yesWasn't he also an NCAA championship wrestler at SU as well?

Tom CoughlinI got a chance to talk to Floyd Little this summer, and he asked me a good question: Gator Bowl - SU vs Tennessee - SU set the rushing record which I believe still stands to this day. Our backfield was Csonka and Little and guess who? I was surprised at the answer, but it makes you wonder how many great players SU has had.
My father was on his team and talked about nance all the time. Said he was an animal.Wasn't he also an NCAA championship wrestler at SU as well?
you got it!!Tom Coughlin
My vintage!you got it!!
