Some people take their lead from the coach and this is not new. Remember how Jesse out of pure coincidence became "ready" the same week JB was forced to play him?

The party line was that JC was an exciting NYC PG and Cuffe was unable to contribute.

Yeah, that's true. We saw this when Red said a while back that Carlos was getting 37-38 min a game because he was the only one who could dribble. Then you saw that narrative move to this board by some.

Against Clemson... I only watched the first half then fast forwarded through the second half. Why exactly did Cuffe only get 14 minutes? I don't think he was as sharp as he can be but still, in limited time, he was 2-5, 2-2 from deep, 3-3 from FT line, and 9 points.

The missed dunk came at a bad time. It was like a turnover. We really needed that basket. That said, it would have only prolonged our beat down by probably another min or two. Seems to me that Cuffe ought to be getting a min of 20 minutes a game. He is getting more minutes but still only averaging 18 the last 4 games. Improvement at least.
