Curious where all the joe Adam haters are

For sure, this one game totally justifies the Adam hire... Jake Moreland must be a freakin genius.

Fans here are sometimes crazy. We had a guy here a few years ago that said that Ryan Nassib was the worst qb ever to play at Syracuse. Can you imagine?

Whatever happened to that guy? He said he was friends with the Jags new owner and was going to advise him on using statistical analysis to make them a great team. Since they are 10-40 over that time he may have been telling the truth.

Barrel is friends with the Jags owner?

Wow that's pretty cool.

That guy was an imbecile.

It was fanfanclubclub. He hasn't been missed.

Was he referring to IB? There were a few people who were down on Nassib but the one who stuck out to me was that guy (forgot his name). He also guaranteed that Nassib wouldn't get drafted.

NO. i was referring to IB. You are thinking of the guy that had as his handle something like fan fan club club .

People forget that Nassib wasn't very good for the most part his sophomore and junior years. He wasn't very good at all and while I don't remember ever saying that I very well could have and will take your word for it, I probably said it after we dropped 6 in a row and the entire team melted down his junior year.

Nassibs stats always looked good versus the 1aa programs and inferior opponents those 2 years. People loved the "game manager". Who needs that in college?

No way to spin it. He was at least a decent qb back then and you were wrong, very wrong, to say he was the worst qb in syracuse history. Now, you can say that and it's no big deal, but don't come back and try to rub other peoples face in the dirt for saying things about other people.

He wasn't decent he was below average soph and junior year. I am calling out people much like you bring up that quote for 3-4 years now. What is the difference?

I bring it up when you insult other posters when they state their opinions. You make a topic about other posters who challenged Adam. Uncalled for. And Nassib wasn't below average. His team was.

Whatever. Stan was always right about you.

My concern about Joe is that he has NEVER coached the position before. I find it strange the second most important possibly the most important position on the O was handed to someone who has NEVER coached an Ol in his life. Not saying that he cant learn but really... give me a break.

Dude. For the 75th time, Joe Adam coached O-Line at Grand Valley State. You know how I know that? Joe Adam told me so.

He's fine. My goodness. The case was weak before and now it looks very bad.

What of the stories where Mcit basically rebuffed his suggestions and said "block it my way"?

I have no dog in this fight but, honestly, that is not exactly great experience.

The issue I have is that several posters decided when he was hired that he was subpar, and have vociferously sought out confirmatory "evidence" through a biased lens ever since.

It WAS a bit of a reach. So was Lester. Doesn't mean they aren't qualified. There were plenty of dopey opinions expressed about Lester prior to the season, too, since he was a D3 coach. Much of the hand wringing seems unwarranted after only a few games.

If Emerich solidifies the OL, with Trudo shifting back to OG, then one of the weakest positional units on the team will have been solidified quite a bit. To me, that's good coaching.
