Strange idea for a thread, but I think this might be a cool distraction given the b-ball team’s play at MSG.
Post photos, stories, etc of interactions or experiences where you’ve run into SU fans, games, etc while abroad.
This morning I was sent this photo from my father who is vacationing in New Zealand at the moment after visiting his new grandson in Australia.
His caption: (“We’re having dinner in Franz Josef on the west coast of South Island, New Zealand, practically at the end of the Earth, and they have TVs showing a basketball game that was played in Syracuse New York, days ago. Sometimes life is strange.”)
He’s not entirely accurate. The game was live, and being shown from MSG. But still, a pretty cool thing!
