When the Giants and Jets…well in my lifetime the Giants win Super Bowls there isn’t a ticker tape parade in Hoboken….canyon of hero’s baby!!!!

Assuming you are correct, then why would non-NYC denizens root for Gotham teams.
Also, Newark and Jersey City two major cities closer to the stadium, than NYC.

It’s definitely an Upstate thing. I don’t know anyone that lives in NYC, who the team is named for that calls them the NJ Giants. The biggest pride most people from Newark, Jersey City, all the Oranges, Paramus, Parsippany, and Budd Lake is how far they live from NYC.
