I suspect there will be more than this. Wish Alford the best where ever he ends up but with the talent we brought in at WR this offseason and not losing sleep over this decision.

Also a great move by Fran to say this is my program what you did in the past isn't the way we do things now. You do it the new Syracuse way or find a different program to play at. Perfect.

(a) 4 days ago, Ahmad abruptly resigns- and then posts a tweet about- "be careful who you help, some people don't appreciate help..."

(b) Damien Alford is also, abruptly, dismissed from the team.

Basically that he told the HC that he was planning to grad transfer, they asked him not to but he stuck to his decision, and then the staff posted on social media that he was dismissed.

It looks like the tweets were deleted, as I was about to reply that he was probably best off not commenting publicly on the matter. Fran will obviously not put up with those who aren’t 100% committed to the team. We are really seeing a seismic shift in the culture of our athletic department of if you don’t want to be here and put the work in, go or we’ll make the decision for you.
