Damn that Mike Waters...

This board has been an amazing social experiment to follow the past 48 hours. Just amazing.
what a surprise huh? See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, therefore no evil.

At least he admits the pictures are him.

And the experiment will continue, with everyone and their brother weighing in on what JB and the university should or shouldn't do, and how their opinion of MCW has or hasn't changed, not to mention the further speculation and theories about what "really happened." The fun is only beginning. ;)

I'm just here for the party. ;)

The experiment may take some time to get going again. I imagine there will be a lot of indigestion for many of the posters here after eating a big serving of crow for dinner both as it relates to MCW and Waters reporting of the situation.

No one who chose to wait for more information before rushing to judgment has any crow to eat, in my opinion.

Well, MCW himself confirmed on twitter that something had happened the day it happened (using same misunderstanding comment as he did today mind you) and many here refused to believe it was him in the picture or that anything at all had happened. A high profile athlete was detained, photographed seemingly in cuffs and being escorted through a local mall and yet the reporter got blasted for even mentioning despite the fact that it did indeed happen.

We'll all choose to believe what "really" happened. I'm just incredibly disappointed to find out and not sure I'll ever get over the fact that the kid shops at Lord & Taylor. I mean honestly, 21, star athlete and you're 'shopping' there? Lame.

I agree with most of this...but maybe he was looking for something for his mom for Christmas in Lord & Taylor?

As I said in the original post on the incident, anyone who didn't think it was him in the picture was in denial. His tweets later that day all but assured it was him in the picture. He would have said it wasn't me in the picture if it wasn't him.

Exactly.

Exactly.
I honestly didn't think it looked like him and I was NOT in denial. I'm perfectly willing to believe college kids will do just about anything. Especially athletes who are treated like gods and probably start to believe it.
