After they fired Coach P , they hired some Defensive coordinator who won a couple of super bowls but had never run a high level college football program, result equals failure
then they turned to an alumni and his dream job but once again never had run a major college football program and eventually he soured on maybe the biggest part of his job which as recruiting so ended up as a failure
Then instead of doing a national search they hired a life long coordinator with no head coaching experience who talked a big game but had never run a college program so the inevtible came he failed.

Then they did the right thing and id a search and at least hired a head coach though not at the highest level and had never won with his own recruits. Also took him several years to make changes on the staff so they could stop giving up like 70 points a game. eventually he failed and was just playing out the string. he had a much better resume than any of the previous coaches but still not complete.

we have a possible candidate that checks more boxes than anyone so far in the last 20 years, is still fairly young, and has worked in the area including with the program. If this guy is really a candidate then its almost impossible for me to believe they would pick another head coach with so many blank spaces in his resume.

Can’t wait to revisit this. I’m with the chesney family as we speak. Bob’s son Bo has a 44 jersey on. Continue to think Mullen is the guy. Option 1 directly to Option 2.

Not going to say that I don't want Mullen, but I have no problem with Chesney. I think he'd be a good pick.

It’s Syracuse that is all I have to say! Our track record at making logical decisions is lacking.

If it isn't Mullen it better be because he turned us down and not the other way around.

Someone has to live near the airport. Get down there.
