While he’s been at ESPN? I’m not sure. He’s only been there 3-4 years. It does seem like a reasonable policy however - to prohibit commenting on a co-worker.

This silence almost makes it appear as though we whiffed on our first and second candidates and are now rethinking which direction we want to go. Not good.

We don't know that. None of the jobs have been filled with any of our candidates. Besides, they seem to be working efficiently. Mid-week is when to get nervous IMO.

What Axe actually says is that sources tell him that Mullen was not at practice on Wednesday. I wouldn’t expect Mullen to be at practice when he hasn’t been hired.

He's been with ESPN less than two years. He was hired in 2022. Whether it's an ESPN policy or not it just may be as a courtesy to someone he works with. Maybe he has an agreement to get the scoop when it's done, either from Mullen or Wildhack.
