All - Like it or not, per the internet you just witnessed the highest paid QB in NIL history. $8 million for 2 years ($4 million per year). I would guess that could be the best QB faced this season. He controlled the entire game like a pro. Made the right decisions. Made quick decisions. I hated the outcome and am disappointed that this was effectively the first game of the rest of the season, but let’s hope that everyone stays focused and keeps growing and developing so that there can be more wins in the weeks to come and the foundation is set for next season. (FYI….Emmanuel Ross flashed a bit today, Singleton played, AD was beastly, etc)

what does 4 million a year for one dude do to ticket prices at a stadium that holds 35k ? they got 6 home games 2025. that's 210000 tickets if they sell out. that works out to about 19 dollars per ticket to pay him.

Duke can easily win out. That Tulane loss is going to come back and bite them. Syracuse played poor, but they came prepared and played great.
Duke is only going to get better from here as long as Mensah stays healthy

Most likely nothing. There was an article circulating back during basketball season about Duke’s collective. NIL is not an issue at Duke.

No different in basketball either. Cameron seats less than 10k yet they have millions for their roster.

We beat them with Angeli AND Coyle.
That was my first time learning about Coyle. He left midseason for interim UCLA DC. I wonder how big of a role he had with us before he left. Also the press should ask Fran about his role and him leaving.

I was struck by the number of graduate students on the Duke squad.
