Has anyone ever heard of a school/team having an “official” place to donate tickets that could then become available for schools, youth programs, hospitals, etc.?
Most games (football and mbb) we have several thousand unused already paid for tickets, many of whom are STHs that know ahead of time they’re not going and don’t bother (or unsuccessfully try) to resell their tickets.
It can also be a pain in the ass to find people to give tickets away to. (especially if it’s on short notice).
I suppose you could just resell them for like a dollar on TM resale, but just thinking of ways to get butts in seats that may otherwise not have the ability to pay for games. Seems like it could be a positive PR move for SU/TM too.
