SU's website cut Shafer's press conference in half. Post-Standard has the full version on its website. Have no idea why they would do that. Maybe because they mentioned Corey Cooper transferring?

Excited about Erv. Like seeing guys get creative and changing direction when your hole isn't immediately there. We've seen a lot of putting your head down and running into the back of your linemen the last few years, but they're getting better.

Yep, I hope every one of those kids went home with a SU shirt signed by their favorite player to hang on their wall...these service families are from all around the country and hopefully some of them will take their new favorite team back home with them!
