Hopefully more good news than bad today!

Yesterday was a win! No transfers and got Symiracuse.

Hopefully today we can get Swider and no one else leaves

I'm not really clear on a couple of things...

When you add your name to the Transfer Portal, are you declaring that you're firmly committed to transferring to another school?

Or are you just saying you're open to the idea of transferring and are willing to entertain any offers that might actually convince you to do so?

Is it just an expression of interest in an option? Can you change your mind (if the offers you hoped for were not forthcoming) and decide to untransfer (assuming it's mutually agreeable to you and the coaching staff) and remove your name from the portal?

Do TP players just sit by the phone waiting for a call? Or do they actually initiate contact, seeking to 'negotiate?'

Inquiring minds would like to know...

When you enter the portal, you are giving other schools permission to contact you.

Once you enter the portal, schools are not obligated to hold a spot for you.

Imagine telling your girlfriend that you're breaking up with her because you want to look around.

A month later, you want to get back together. Only she's already moved on.
