Day Eight Spring Practice: Thurs April 6, 2017

aka as the Ga Tech tactics.

Very true, i route for them to go 0-12 every year d/t those cut techniques that are methodically taught by johnson.

Seems like Special Teams is going to get a much needed size/speed infusion. I know Babers said last season they used walk-ons. Now Fagan i assume will be on it, plus maybe Tim Walton. Also of course Lustig bringing some solid experience to that area.

Specials were actually excellent last year. Coverage squads were solid.

Not to be that guy, but cut blocks have been around forever, and were a huge part of our option offense throughout the 80s-early 2000s. Not saying I think it should be legal, but as long as it is legal i don't think you can really hold it against a team for using it to their advantage.

That said I'm more than ready to see the second year of Dino's offense without those cut blocks. I really think it could click this year and hopefully within a few take us back to the level of the times I mentioned before.

Perhaps I have bad memories from being at the BC game and watching their horrible team return a KO for 6.

So many stories of kids getting so much stronger, are we just hearing more about it now or are we improving way faster than we have in years past?

Remember the work out stories before the 2010 season, when suddenly everyone got jacked? I specifically remember Delone Carter's arms. It's the same thing.
