6-6 will absolutely feel like a winning season with the schedule were looking at this fall. Not to nitpick, but to nitpick... I'd say 3 winning seasons. One of them was 6-6.

no access stuff stinks , all the secrets and hush hush is all BS and paranoia. Games come down to blocking and tackling either you do or you dont. Have a Friday night practice open it up to fans kinda like the spring game without the game , that's how you build your fan base !
I think Walton is going to end up sticking at DE.
perhaps its less about people seeing what they are doing and more about not having to answer questions about what they are doing.. when you open it up to more people, more stuff gets written about who is #1 or #2 or not looking good and injuries as well as scheme and those become questions in PCs and online material that a team that is trying to build up a program doesnt need to deal with.
really it only effects a handful of people who actually attend but that blossoms into many more who read and comment about it.

Dino has spoken about this numerous times. Basically he says all coaches are by nature paranoid. And I am a coach. And the Wakeyleaks thing only makes it worse.perhaps its less about people seeing what they are doing and more about not having to answer questions about what they are doing.. when you open it up to more people, more stuff gets written about who is #1 or #2 or not looking good and injuries as well as scheme and those become questions in PCs and online material that a team that is trying to build up a program doesnt need to deal with.

Walton would not play at LB this season - it is a deep unit led by seniors, supplemented by Valdez, with Armstrong, Guthrie and Thomas ahead of Walton. He has a better chance to contribute at DE.I think so too. A bit bummed bc i still think LB was his natural position and he brought needed size to the position. Sad that arrests and injuries blew up any chance at competition and depth at DE.
